Description

Students carry out hands-on experimentation and observation to further explore concepts addressed in the Developmental Biology lecture course. Processes such as fertilization, embryonic development, patterning, morphogenesis, differential gene expression, and regeneration are studied. As in the field of developmental biology, a variety of animals are used to study these processes, including flatworms, birds, sea urchins, amphibians, and fish.

Co-requisite = BIOL 314 BIOL 210 or 212, BIOL 252 or 254, CHEM 115/117 or 103
