Description

Today, the explicitly ideological term "globalization" is used to suggest convergences and to persuade diverse publics that one or another global policy is to the benefit of all. Both the advocates of political and economic globalization and their opponents sometimes use similar aspects of globalization to advance quite different platforms. This course explores contending points of view concerning diverse aspects of the "globalization debate." This course may count toward the major in political science. Capabilities addressed: Critical reading, critical thinking, clear writing, information technology.
