Professional Project Managers using sticky notes
Digital Project Management Certificate

Turn digital ideas into finished experiences.

Digital experiences don’t come together on their own. Behind every website, app, game, video, and interactive learning experience is someone who can coordinate people, processes, and priorities to bring an idea from concept to completion.

UMass Boston’s Digital Project Management program prepares you to lead digital media projects from planning through production, quality assurance, and delivery. You’ll develop practical skills with industry-standard tools while learning to define project requirements; manage scope, budgets, timelines, and resources; and guide cross-functional teams through the production process. Taught by an experienced executive producer, the course draws on real-world production practices to help you solve challenges, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver successful digital experiences.

Give Great Ideas a Way Forward

Today’s digital projects require more than creative and technical expertise. They require professionals who can keep teams aligned, manage competing priorities, and move complex work forward.

Many professionals step into project management responsibilities without formal training, making it difficult to define scope, manage resources, communicate with stakeholders, and adapt to changing project needs. With UMass Boston’s Digital Project Management program, learn the practical skills, production workflows, and professional judgment needed to lead digital media projects effectively.
